The sexualization of little girls is increasing because of media.

Media encourages the sexualization of little girls.
Recently, while I was flipping the channels trying to find something decent on TV, I saw a kids show that shocked me. It found it on Boomerang and it was called 'Bratz'. As soon as I saw it, I remembered that when I was a little kid, I used to own these dolls; they were  are like the 'modern Barbies'.
These show is basically about the Bratz's life and they show little girls that the most important thing is how we look, and having a cute boyfriend.

Moreover, these Bratz also exist as dolls and little girls play with them.
What makes the Bratz increase the sexualization of little girls is that Bratz wear sexy clothes, they act sexy, wear make up, etc. Little girls use the Bratz as a role model and they imitate what the Bratz do and what they wear.

Girls wear short skirts, shirts that show their belly, among other. Besides, since Bratz use bras, little girls also want to use bras; hence, padded bras are sold and 3-year-old girls wear padded bras.

Besides, since Bratz wear make up, little girls want to wear make up as well. The consequence? shows like Todlers and Tiaras come out.

With this in mind, the sexualization of little girls is increasing because of media.
