Beyoncé's House of Dereon Advertisement Increases the Sexualization of Little Girls

Now that I am researching more about how media increases the sexualization of little girls, I came across this advertisement. This is an ad for Beyoncé's House of Dereon kid's clothing line.
First of all, the creator of this line is Beyonce. I do not mean to offend anyone by saying this, but really, Beyonce should just stick to singing because she will not be successful as a fashion designer.
As a dedicated fashion lover, I think I have enough experience to say that these clothes are not just tacky, but also make the little girls look more sexual--like cheap hookers from the street. Again, I am not trying to be offensive, but I do not know whether to laugh at this ad as if it were a joke or to be extremely sad for the girls--who simply look pathetic.
I would NEVER dress my children in those clothes (not that I have children). And, if I would see a picture of me dressed like that when I was a kid, I would probably leave the house and sue my mother for child abuse--because really, that is what it is, child abuse.

  1. jajajajajajaaja beyonce has a cheap style. i agree. and poor girls, they are being oversexualized. jja, beyonce should do her clothing line in lima. the style fits with her designs. *add that in one of your posts, (maybe it can help beyonce target her audience better)
